BluJayz

The BluJayz Band has been described as always eclectic, sometimes electric, sometimes acoustic, sometimes with a raw driving groove, other times smoky, bluesy smooth.

The group formed in the spring of 2017 when seven veteran musicians with widely diverse backgrounds came together to make music. The result has been a high-powered, synergistic mix made possible by everyone bringing particular interests to the table and all working to bring those ideas to performable life. 

Rock, blues, multiple jazz forms from Latin through bebop and fusion to Dixie, old time, Americana, country, swing, show tunes, rhythm and blues - these and more are all tangled up in the offerings. Members of the band are all dedicated to making things honest, energetic, engaging and fun.
