Drowsy Maggie and Dave Driskell will perform a mix of both instrumental and vocal arrangements of Americana, old-time, folk, bluegrass, and Celtic music.
Members of Drowsy Maggie are Danny Shipe and Molly Cary, who both sing lead and harmony vocals with Cary on guitar and Shipe on guitar and banjo, Daria Lin-Guelig on hammered dulcimer and concertina, and Bruce Smith on upright bass. Performing with them will be Dave Driskell on flute, whistle, and percussion.
Among the new songs and old favorites Drowsy Maggie will perform this Friday are Brandi Carlile’s “The Joke,” Eric Clapton’s “Lay Down Sally," and Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth” as well as some new instrumentals.
