ABOUT ABOUT

New rescheduled date! Tickets purchased for the October 4th date will be honored at the November 23rd date.

Molly's Boys Jug Band is a unique, three-person musical group playing
contemporary and old-time songs, folk, rock, blues, and original tunes. They
feature guitar, banjo, clarinet, saxophone, flute, jug, washboard, and musical
saw, among other inventive instruments. This band is truly a special experience
that often incorporates audience participation into their performance and
adapts their shows to the type of audience or venue. The band was formed
primarily for educational assemblies in public schools in 2017 which rapidly
evolved into performances at fairs, clubs, and special events.

Gerry Cavaliere, a retired teacher, is a singer, songwriter, and guitar player. He
helped form the band as an aid to teaching a variety of lessons in his classroom
and for reaching students through various curriculum. Gerry also lends his time
and talent to an electric band, The OldHeads. Both bands play Gerry’s original
songs.

David Driskell is a classically trained professional musician who has toured the
U.S. and Europe for forty years with the Sadie Green Sales Jugband. He is
proficient on clarinet, saxophone, flute, and tenor banjo. Come see him dazzle
the audience with the unique sounds of jug, washboard, and musical saw.

Jay Short joined the band as the lead guitar player in 2024. He has been playing
guitar for fifty years, playing rock, country, bluegrass, blues and R&B. He likes a
good song no matter the genre! Jay has performed in the past with many local
bands including; King Biscuit, Blue Willy & the Billtown Jukes, Blues & Gasoline,
Dirty Bird and Mystery Trayne.
