Acoustic trio Mystery Trayne is a harmonious gumbo of Delta blues, twang, and swing. Two of the members, Jay "Bone" Short and Cheryl "Miz Ida" Miller have been fixtures in the area blues seen for decades. They have lived it and played it and share a rich history of making music together since the early days of the the burgeoning Billtown blues scene. They are joined by Jack "J.C." Reed, a Liberty-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and recording engineer. With a lot of road miles under his belt by traveling with various show bands, you will find Jack perched behind his upright bass or guitar adding just the right amount of harmony to Cheryl's smooth-as-butter voice and Jay's soulful vocals and blues-driven guitar style.
